Course Overview
Some responders are unsure and possibly even unaware of the hazards and risks when first arriving at an incident scene on the rail network.
This course aims to develop responders' skills, knowledge, and understanding in the safe management of incidents involving the UK railway infrastructure. Participants will gain comprehensive insights into the hazards and risks present on the rail network, as well as those associated with rolling stock.
By the end of this course, participants will have developed the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary to confidently manage safety at incidents involving the railway infrastructure. They will be equipped to assess risks, implement safety measures, and effectively respond to rail-related incidents, ultimately ensuring the well-being of all involved parties.
