Course Overview
This programme is aimed at providing a thorough understanding of safety issues relating to first response operations when attending an incident and the relevant legislation applicable to the scene.
Furthermore, delegates will work through understanding how a scene is structured and gain the confidence to communicate quickly and effectively with the emergency services and other agencies.
The course is complemented by current standard operating procedures and follows best practice guidance documents.
By the end of the course, delegates will have a wider knowledge and understanding of the key skills and concepts required to operate legally and safely in support of the emergency services at any scene.
