This programme is aimed at providing senior managers with the knowledge and skills for managing incidents at a tactical level and gives a broad understanding of how their role fits into on-site and off-site strategic crisis management.
This course is applicable across a multitude of responder agencies as the principles of JESIP are utilised to align processes across sectors.
The programme addresses the need for specific training in operational management in the applicable field by supporting senior managers in their understanding of incident management and equipping them with appropriate knowledge and skills to respond to incidents safely, efficiently and effectively.
It is part of a suite of learning and development modules that seek to upskill managers in a variety of areas.
